Alechy Sumter was bitten by the writing bug as an adolescent but didn’t give it any time or attention until poor decisions lead to serving a federal sentence. Pressure can burst pipes but also create a diamond, using the time of isolation to reinvent herself she pinned several literary works.
She emerged from the trenches, ready to get her life back on track and pursue her dreams. In February 2018 she signed to Kindred Soul Publications and hasn’t looked back since. She encourages readers to “Not allow Life’s setbacks to discourage you. Encourage yourself. Your will and mindset are the strongest tools you have!”
Currently she resides in Columbia, SC with her daughter and fiancé.
